Sarah Eisner - Visual Art

Sarah Eisner is a visual artist born in Atlanta,Ga and based in Manhattan. Growing up she was inspired by her family of Southern, Swiss and Vietnamese influence, experiences with formal education, and her desire to build a community surrounding creative expression. She recently spent 2 years based in Valencia while traveling and collaborating with artists and artisans throughout Spain, France, Portugal and Switzerland.

Sarah began her career as a painter in 2018 when she found a space to process the light and dark moments with visual imagery. She uses her work to dive into her passion for connection and expression through nonverbal forms of communication. Sarah has spent time creating her own personal style of painting from experimentation and has found the process of painting, receiving critique and expressing thoughts, ideals and emotions has been the real work of art.

Sarah's intention through her art is to encourage the imagination to play. She tends to leave pieces incomplete orblending  together to encourage the mind to stretch and step away from the everyday known. She is deeply inspired by the broad range of physical and emotional expressions that can be found both in the human made and natural world. Like a game on ispy she hopes to open up conversations about “what we see” in ourselves, others and our environments.
