    For all their talk about “diversity, inclusion, and equity”, or perhaps, precisely because of their ideological convictions which lead them to discriminate on the basis of immutable characteristics in the name of DEI, American institutions routinely fail to provide talented individuals from poor backgrounds who don’t check the right “diversity” boxes with the merit-based financial aid they need.

    The absence of government subsidies and the lack of high-quality educational institutions in many countries outside the USA make it necessary for the private sector of those countries to step in to ensure that their singers can compete internationally.

    Whereas donations to legacy schools such as Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music, and Mannes, end up covering a gargantuan, self-serving bureaucracy that has exploded by 80% over the last decades, NYVAA is run in such a fiscally responsible way that the overwhelming majority of your donations will directly impact our students, rather than lining up the pockets of administrators.

    Donations made in the USA by both individuals and corporations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by US law.

    Donations made by Mexican corporations are also tax deductible to thanks to a treaty between the USA and Mexico. Full details about these benefits can be obtained upon request.

    Our collaboration agreement with the famed New York City Opera, which in and of itself is going through a re-organization and rebirth process, will guarantee that our singers not only get world-class training, but will get professional experience and exposure in the most important cultural hub in the Americas, which is, undoubtedly, New York City.

    • Our commitment to demanding and rewarding talent, hard work, discipline, and perseverance, rather than superficial, immutable traits that are, in and of themselves, no guarantee of quality.

  • Donations made by individuals and corporations in the USA are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    Donations made by Mexican corporations to our public charity in the USA are also tax deductible for an amount equal to up to 7% of the corporation’s revenue thanks to a treaty between the USA and Mexico.

  • The number of singers who will receive scholarships is contingent on the funds available to that end. We aim, at first, to help at least four singers per year.
